STEP 1: Park your car in Shimla or get a cab to ShimlaIf you are driving to Shimla by your own car, you will need to park the car at a parking and then reach the hotel as Hotel Willow Banks is on the main Mall Road and this is a pedestrian only road. The largest parking in Shimla is the Shimla Central Car Parking on Cart Road and this is just 250m from the hotel. To park here, SMS your car number to 098160-76512 / 098160-07919 Call 0177-2658125 / 0177-2658126 one day before arrival to reserve a parking slot. Standard parking charges will be applicable. Car charges are Rs. 200 per day for a small vehicle and Rs. 300 per day for a large vehicle. However, if you are coming by air/train/bus and need a cab from the airport, railway station or bus stand to reach the hotel, do let us know. We will be happy to assist you with the same.
STEP 2: Get a porter for your luggageRemember to call @ 098160-76512 / 098160-07919 when you are 60 minutes from Shimla so we can arrange a porter for you. Since the hotel is approx 5- 10 mins walking distance from the car park, we recommend you get a porter unless you have very light baggage. These are not hotel employees and hence standard porter charges will apply. If you need us to arrange a porter for you we will SMS his details to you. Charges of porter approx. Rs. 150 for 2 suitcases.
STEP 3: Take the tourism lift or our private lift to the hotelGet dropped at the government run Tourism Lift and take the lift up to Mall road. Upon exiting the lift walk 2 min towards right to reach Hotel's main Mall Road entrance. Please note that the tourism lift is not operational after 9pm and also may get crowded on peak rush days.

Alternatively, you can get off from the car at the start of the Metropole Road and walk up for maximum 5 mins (road is slightly steep) & reach Hotel's lower entrance where aour private lift will get you directly to the Hotel reception.
