KUFRI
( 22 kms ) is the highest
spot in Shimla at an altitude of 9200 ft.offering a panoramic
view of the surrounding Himalayan Range . Children
would love to visit the Zoo with its mélange of
exotic wild animals. Take a pony ride to Mahasu peak and enjoy
the breathtaking scenery .On the drive to Kufri you can watch
the mesmerizing 'Hassan Valley' , the thickest
coniferous forest in Asia.
CHAIL ( 52 Kms )
on the road from Kufri is the former residence of the Maharaja
of Patiala . His palace is a majestic sprawling structure with a
unique collection of antiques, heirlooms and artifacts. Chail
also boasts of the highest cricket ground in the world.
MASHOBRA ( 13 Kms )
is a picturesque moffusil township encircled by majestic oaks,
poplars and pine trees . Visit Craignanu and admire the diverse
flora.
NALDEHRA ( 22 Kms )
is famous for its 9 - hole lush green golf course. In close
proximity is the exquisite temple of Mahunag .
TATAPANI ( 55 Kms )
located on the banks of the Satluj river is famous for it's
gushing hot water sulphur springs.
NARKANDA ( 60 Kms )
a beautiful hill resort with verdant dales & meadows and
flowering Apple and Cherry orchards. Walk up to Hatu Peak at a
height of 13,500 feet and get overawed by the towering
snow-capped mountain peaks almost at touching distance.

walk down history lane as you watch the colonial grandeur of the
past unfold before you in the erstwhile Viceregal Lodge
constructed in 1884. Some of the most momentous decisions

JHAKOO TEMPLE ( 2 Kms )
is one of the most sacred & revered temples in India.
Dedicated to Lord Hanuman legend has it that he rested here on
his way to find the sanjivini booti . You can either take the
steep walk or motor up.
